SparteX 2026 Exercise
The French Space Command organized its annual military space exercise from 8 to 27 February 2026 at Air Base 101 in Toulouse.
The scenario, focused on multi-domain integration, tested interoperability between the space operations command centre and other command structures. It included 28 space events, from the ground and in all orbits, with 4,000 simulated space objects, to deal with 10 different types of threats.
Once again this year, the NATO Space COE participated to the exercise in support to French Space Command. We contributed as a part of the Red Cell simulating adversary activities to challenge the players, supported exercise execution in White Cell and contributed to the lessons learned team focusing on international participation in the event.
