As a future Education and Training Facility (ETF), the NATO Space COE has begun focusing on NATO Quality Assurance and preparing for Quality Assurance (QA) accreditation. The Education and Training (E&T) Division attended the 2025 Annual NATO Quality Assurance Forum in Helsinki, Finland, on the 14th and 15th of October, where it presented the COE to the audience.
Quality Assurance provides a mechanism through which NATO can be assured of a consistent level of quality in the activities delivered in support of NATO by accredited Education and Training Facilities (ETFs).
This annual QA Forum brought together the NATO QA Community of Interest (COI), composed of around 60 representatives from Education and Training Facilities (ETFs). It enabled participants to share information and best practices, prepare the 2026 QA Programme of Work, and receive practical guidance on the QA Hub.
