Federated Mission Networking: Space C2 Tiger team in Tokyo

Last week, the NATO Space COE was proud to support and to help to lead the most recent NATO Federated Mission Networking (FMN) Space C2 Tiger Team meeting in Tokyo, hosted by FMN observer Japan.

As a core member of the FMN Space C2 Tiger Team, the NATO Space COE worked alongside partners to refine NATO interoperability specifications for space command and control, informed by lessons learned through recent experimentation.

The agenda included a review of CWIX outcomes for Space, and knowledge-sharing sessions to support Japan’s understanding of FMN processes and objectives.

The collaboration benefited greatly from the thoughtful engagement and support of our Japanese hosts, who provided an excellent backdrop for a focused, forward-leaning and highly fruitful engagement.
